The EXC 1501 SPLINE ONE is everything a modern Enduro rider needs. A
carbon rim with 30 mm internal width, designed for serious business on
the trail, offers precise control to reach and hit the line that isn't
always the easiest, but is the fastest. At its center, the legendary 240
hub reliably transmits the rider's power and is available with either
the lightweight DT Swiss Ratchet EXP freehub system or the small
engagement angle of the patent-pending DT Swiss Ratchet DEG freehub
system. The carbon rim and 240 hub are held together by DT competition
race straightpull spokes optimized for performance and weight.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
