Tubeless Sealant
The DT Swiss Tubeless range is completed with the DT Swiss Tubeless Sealant. In order to achieve the optimal combination of the individual tubeless components, DT Swiss now offers two pressure-specific tubeless sealants to ensure constant pressure in the tires.
Valve
The lightweight alloy valve saves 40% weight compared to brass valves. The integrated valve tool in the top cap saves time and effort when it comes to screwing & unscrewing the valve core during tubeless installation. The conical valve base ensures a sealed fit. The DT Swiss tubeless valve perfectly matches DT Swiss rims, to ensure a perfect seal for long, hassle-free rides.
Tape
The DT Swiss tubeless-ready rim tape also has benefits that make it an indispensable part of the bike workshop. The structure allows for easy mounting via taut placement on the rim profile and with a high fixing glue, it will stay on for a long time.
Center Lock Parts
The DT Swiss Center Lock adapter allows to mount a 6-hole disc brake on Center Lock hubs, suitable for road and MTB bikes equipped with a quickrelease or a through axle. The Hybrid version has a integrated magnet and is compatible with most standard speed sensors.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

If the valve or tubeless tape is not attached correctly, air or tire sealant may get into the rim cavity and then leak out around the seam area. Ensure that the valve is seated properly, the tubeless tape is lying flat and the entire rim bed is covered with tubeless tape, including the inner side wall.
If there is too big a gap between the tire and the rim tape, the tire sealant won't seal quickly enough. It can help to add a second or third layer of tubeless tape here to ensure a closer fit between the tire and rim.
Bear in mind that sufficient tire sealant must be used for the first tubeless setup. You'll find the manufacturer's instructions on your tire sealant.

The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
