The PR 1400 DICUT OXiC, available in 32 mm or 21 mm rim heights,
represents the pinnacle of achievement among our aluminum road wheels!
The OXiC ceramic coating on the wheels provides braking performance that
has never been seen on rim brakes before.
The sturdy, lightweight, asymmetrical rim has an excellent
stiffness-to-weight ratio and its stability makes a decisive
contribution to the wheelset’s durability and reliability. In a tubeless
setup, this wheel demonstrates its athletic character with even greater
comfort and grip. The wheel is extremely competitive, practical and in
absolute harmony with the minimalist design.
We believe in the art of engineering and strive for sophistication in the product development process. Our guiding idea is to constantly push barriers with our inhouse developed technologies.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, maneuverability and weight of the wheel. Basically, the higher the rim, the greater the aerodynamic advantage. The lower the rim, the more agile and maneuverable the handling.
«For everyday rides the PR 1400 wheelset has performed dutifully. On a 250 km weekend ride from Frankfurt to Cologne and back, the wheels rode as if on rails. For a set of aluminium wheels, these are satisfyingly light while still managing to retain great rigidity even on slippery autumnal roads.»
