In the split second you leave the road behind, your arms anticipate the
switch into rocky, effervescent terrain. The GRC 1400 DICUT is ready for
the vibrations and obstacles of a gravel tour, so you can leave not just
the road, but your shadow and inhibitions behind as well. With two
distinctive rim heights, harness the reliability to smoothly ride over
crisp champagne-like gravel segments with speed or confidently tackle
the on-the-rocks unpredictability of unbeaten trails. 50 mm of
aerodynamic optimization is ideal for KOM/QOM hunting and for beating
your friends on your favorite gravel segment. The low steering moment of
the 30 mm high rim provides the agility needed on long adventures,
unhooking you from any limitations. Both rims come finished out of the
mold thanks to a new patented manufacturing process that eliminates the
need for a final coating. This makes your wheelset light yet durable and
guarantees you will stand out. With the ideal performance to weight
ratio of the 240 DICUT hub and resistant DT aero comp II spokes, the new
GRC 1400 DICUT wheels can’t wait to leave the road.
Now it is up to you to decide. Are you off the hook or on the hunt?

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, maneuverability and weight of the wheel. Basically, the higher the rim, the greater the aerodynamic advantage. The lower the rim, the more agile and maneuverable the handling.
By buying a DT Swiss carbon wheel, you will benefit from the Fair Share Policy which allows you to profit from a crash replacement service for your wheels, available for 10 years after purchase.
«Considering the DT Swiss GRC 1400 wheels’ general build quality, performance attributes and finishing touches as a whole, ultimately I would say they are an unusually versatile proposition that still perfectly suit a gravel bike’s do-anything remit.»

«For such deep rims, they’re a lot lighter feeling than they look and, without a wind tunnel to hand, I reckon that the aero benefits can be felt at higher speeds. [...] We have pretty gusty winds here and the GRC 1400 DICUTs seem pretty neutral in a crosswind gust, which is reassuring, given their depth.»

«DT Swiss’ GRC 1400 Dicut wheels are a brilliant update to an already impressive platform. If you’re after all-rounder, lightweight carbon gravel hoops and you have the cash, it’s hard to overlook these.»

«Honestly, these are the best gravel wheels I have ever used, with the perfect mix of speed, responsiveness, weight, and serviceability. They do all the things I could ask for in a wheel, with a super smooth ride and an addictive turn of speed that never felt out of its depth or that was slowing me down in any way across pretty much all terrain.»
When asked what he looks for on his trips, Joffrey, an avid bikepacker from France, said, “Being alone with my bike in remote and stunning landscapes is always one of my favorite things...”

To create the ultimate gravel racing wheels, we designed with our partner @swissside a unique rim shape tailored for wide gravel tires. The result is the GRC 50 wheel, which achieves the lowest aerodynamic drag tested, with a design that balances aerodynamic performance and robustness, making it an exceptionally fast choice for off-road racing.
