Never mind if the conditions are windy, muddy or rainy, the CRC 1400
SPLINE is ready to conquer them all. The aero-optimized rim supports
your high speeds on descents and on the hunt for your competitors, no
matter where the wind blows. The rim profile is tubeless ready, allowing
you to take advantage of the technology and simply and conveniently
change the tires according to the prevailing conditions of the track.
This will ensure you always find the sweet spot between traction and
rolling resistance.
CRC 1400 SPLINE 35: Fast and light, the agility of this wheelset
will
efficiently lead
you through the mud puddles and the technical sections.
CRC 1400 SPLINE 45: Aero and sturdy, this wheelset overcomes drag
as
well as the obstacles you might face on longer cross rides.
tubeless ready
The rim profile allows for the usage of tubeless technology and enables a convenient tire exchange to get the best tire performance. This lets you ride with lower pressures that provide better grip, ideal for cross terrain.
hub
The new hub design stores the Ratchet EXP technology in its heart, which will reliably transmit your watts into efficient acceleration.
rim
The hooked rim supports a wide range of tires while ensuring safe tire seating in harsh conditions.
rim height
For the first time in our Cross Road range, two aero-optimized rim heights are available in 35 mm and 45 mm, with two distinctive riding styles.
We believe in the art of engineering and strive for sophistication in the product development process. Our guiding idea is to constantly push barriers with our inhouse developed technologies.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

Are you looking for the user manual, searching for compatible replacement parts, or do you want to know which components are installed in your product?
All this information is stored in our useful Product Support. By entering the 7-digit DT Swiss ID or scanning the corresponding QR code / dot code with your mobile camera, you can easily identify your product. Please note that the dot code can only be read with this specific scan reader.
Since 2020, all wheels and suspension products are equipped with the 7-digit DT Swiss ID. If your product does not have a DT Swiss ID, you can also identify it using the filter function or the material number. Here you can find everything about the exact positioning of the DT Swiss ID on our products.
Under Product Support, you will find exact details of all conversion options for your product (wheel, hub). First go to Product Support and select your product using the DT Swiss ID or filter. Under "Conversion" you will find the exact details for all conversion options. You will also find helpful How To videos and manuals.
The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, maneuverability and weight of the wheel. Basically, the higher the rim, the greater the aerodynamic advantage. The lower the rim, the more agile and maneuverable the handling.
By buying a DT Swiss carbon wheel, you will benefit from the Fair Share Policy which allows you to profit from a crash replacement service for your wheels, available for 10 years after purchase.

«In addition to the training effect, cyclocross races also offer me the opportunity to compete with others. This is another advantage as I am preparing for the new season.
I was riding the all-new CRC 1400 SPLINE during my win at the last Swiss CX national championship, and even with the muddy conditions, I had full faith in my wheels. They felt really fast and I could ride them at low tire pressure, which gave me good grip and comfort, allowing me to save some energy against my opponents.»
