These extra lightweight carbon eMTB wheels are engineered for riders looking for outstanding agility. Thanks to the low weight carbon rims, riders benefit from increased agility and dynamism when going uphill and downhill, while withstanding the increased torques of eMTBs. The spokes were designed with specific diameters to align light weight and resistance. Inside the 240 hub, oversized bearings support the additional loads of eMTBs. With the Ratchet EXP OS system, the rider benefits from direct acceleration through a torque-resistant freehub system. Each component has been designed with the specific aim of delivering advanced agility to find flow and fun on the trails.

Carbon rims Light yet resistant rims, a strong combination enabling a lighter riding feeling. Available in 27.5" and 29" with 30 mm internal width.
Light reinforced spokes Designed for agility, the Hybrid spokes are composed of three different diameters (2.15/1.8/2.0) and are developed to resist higher torques.
240 LS hub A new hub enabling greater resistance to acceleration and braking forces.
Ratchet EXP OS freehub Equipped with larger bearings , the Ratchet EXP OS system is specified with 30 teeth that create 12 degrees of engagement.
Compatibility The hub is compatible with all common freehub standards and can be changed easily and without tools.

  • At temperatures of 200 degrees, carbon will start to wave and lose its stability.

    The exhaust gases from a car can be up to 500 degrees Celsius. When transporting your carbon wheel with a rear carrier, make sure that there is sufficient distance to avoid such defects!  

    Contact the manufacturer of your rear carrier for a protective device.

  • Is there a crash replacement program?The DT Swiss Fair-Share Policy is an additional offer from DT Swiss that allows the first owner of a carbon wheel to affordably repair the product in the event of damage while riding (e.g. due to a crash).
