the XMC 1200 SPLINE are all about. Our new carbon compression process
builds durable yet light rims, while our patent pending layer-by-layer
quality control minimizes imperfections to maximize your confidence to
break the mold. An agile and lighter rim in the front and a more durable
rim in the back makes these wheels efficient and reliable, for the
planned and the unplanned. You can choose between the sturdy, fast
engaging Ratchet DEG freehub systems or the lightweight Ratchet EXP.

An industry disrupting rim manufacturing process and a layer-by-layer nondestructive inspection of every product creates light yet durable rims for a long-lasting riding experience. The patent-pending outer carbon layer enables an unrivaled high-quality finish on the rim surface, meaning it is ready-to-go, straight out of the mold.
The 1200 wheels are supported with carbon layers that enclose the entire rim to solidify the rim horns through long and uninterrupted fibers.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
You can buy all spare parts, conversion kits, and tools from a dealer.
