The 240 is designed for riders with the most extreme ambitions. Whether you want to count on the 240 with the weight advantage of the DT Swiss Ratchet EXP system, the small engagement angle of the Ratchet DEG, reduced pedal kickback with Ratchet DEG DF, or the proven durability of the Ratchet System for single speed applications, there is a system for you. The EXP system offers fewer parts, Ratchet DEG features a 90-tooth high engagement system with well-known reliability thanks to its larger design. Ratchet DEG DF allows for 0°, 10° or 20° freehub rotation before engagement, reducing pedal kickback to the maximum.
