Since 2020, all wheels and suspension products are equipped with the 7-digit DT Swiss ID. If your product does not have a DT Swiss ID, you can also identify it using the filter function or the material number. Regular hub service is worth it! Dust and dirt cause wear parts to wear out faster, which can impair function. We recommend cleaning the hub every 12 months and lubricating it with a suitable grease. For MTB, boost hubs have become the new industry standard. The greater bearing distance increases the lateral stiffness of the bike and reduces ball bearing wear.

Unfortunately, you cannot convert non-boost hubs to wider distances nor boost to narrower distances (non-boost). This is because the boost hubs are wider in the center.
