Die DT Swiss Tubeless-Produktpalette wird durch das DT Swiss Tubeless-
Dichtmittel erweitert. Um die optimale Kombination der einzelnen
Tubeless-Komponenten zu erhalten, bietet DT Swiss nun zwei
druckspezifische Dichtmittel, die einen konstanten Reifendruck
sicherstellen.
Die Verwendung von Aluminium spart 40% Gewicht im Vergleich zu
herkömmlichen Messingventilen. Das integrierte Ventilwerkzeug in der
Ventilkappe erspart Zeit und Mühe bei der Suche nach dem passenden
Werkzeug zur Entfernung des Ventileinsatzes. Der konische Ventilfuß
gewährleistet einen festen Sitz. Das DT Swiss Tubeless Ventil passt
perfekt zu den DT Swiss Felgen und stellt eine perfekte Abdichtung für
lange problemlose Fahrten sicher.

Das DT Swiss Tubeless Ready-Felgenband ist ein weiterer unverzichtbarer
Bestandteil der Fahrrad-Werkstatt. Dank seiner Struktur kann es
problemlos und straff auf das Felgenprofil platziert und mit einem
starken Kleber befestigt werden, sodass es fest und dauerhaft sitzt.
Der DT Swiss Center Lock Adapter ermöglicht die Montage einer 6-Loch-
Scheibenbremse an Center Lock-Naben. Er eignet sich für Rennräder und
MTBs, die mit einem Schnellspanner oder einer Steckachse ausgestattet
sind. Die Hybrid-Version hat einen integrierten Magneten und ist mit den
meisten Standard-Geschwindigkeitssensoren kompatibel.

The Tubeless Sealant completes the DT Swiss Tubeless range. It joins the valve, the rim tape and of course the tubeless ready rims to offer a number of advantages over the conventional combination of tube and tire.
Tubeless enables to ride without risking snakebites, the tire can be run with lower pressures providing better grip. The lower pressure also results in a more comfortable ride. Eliminating the tube means there is no friction between tube and tire and therefore less rolling resistance when the tire rolls over the ground and obstacles. If tubeless sealant is used, the tire can self-seal stings and small cuts.

Different intended use, different Tubeless Sealants...
Our Low Pressure tubeless sealant, works best in a pressure range of up to 4.5 bar, and is intended for use in mountain biking and gravel. It will instantly seal holes in the tire up to 6mm.
Our High Pressure is intended for practices where the pressures in the tire are between 4 and 7.5 bars, such as road or track. It will immediately fix cuts up to 3 mm thanks to thicker sealing particles than on a classic sealant.

The DT Swiss Tubeless range is completed with the DT Swiss Tubeless Sealant. In order to achieve the optimal combination of the individual tubeless components, DT Swiss now offers two pressure-specific tubeless sealants to ensure constant pressure in the tires.
The high-pressure tubeless sealant is primarily intended for systems that are run at high pressure, such as those found on road bike tires. The low-pressure sealant is made for tires with a larger air volume that are ridden at a lower pressure, often in off-road practice.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

If the valve or tubeless tape is not attached correctly, air or tire sealant may get into the rim cavity and then leak out around the seam area. Ensure that the valve is seated properly, the tubeless tape is lying flat and the entire rim bed is covered with tubeless tape, including the inner side wall.
If there is too big a gap between the tire and the rim tape, the tire sealant won't seal quickly enough. It can help to add a second or third layer of tubeless tape here to ensure a closer fit between the tire and rim.
Bear in mind that sufficient tire sealant must be used for the first tubeless setup. You'll find the manufacturer's instructions on your tire sealant.
The tire should be pumped in line with the manufacturer's instructions, in order to ensure optimum rolling resistance.
Note: This can vary depending on the tire manufacturer and model. The tire pressure impacts both the ride comfortability and stability of the wheel. See our tire pressure table for an overview of maximum tire pressures depending on tire and rim width.
